| Kung Fu Panda Starring Jack Black |
Sometimes animated movies can get tiresome for familiar themes and obvious gags, but Bill insists that this one was good and he enjoys animated films anyway. It draws a PG rating for the martial arts cartoon violence, but there's no offensive language.
The characters are voiced by an all-star cast. Jack Black (High Fidelity, Shallow Hal) is the lead as Po the panda, Dustin Hoffman as Shifu (presumably a red panda) and the rest of the cast costs just as much - Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, Jackie Chan, and Michael Clark Duncan.
If the plot matters to you, it's about Po, a lazy panda in China, being chosen to defend his people against enemy threat. His supporting posse of jungle characters called the Furious Five join in the fun and fight. A nice safe and fun movie for the family that adults can enjoy.
