CAB DRIVER CHARGED WITH ASSAULT AFTER EXPOSING HIMSELF TO CUSTOMER

A Northwest Side cab driver has been charged with public indecent and assault after allegedly exposing himself to a woman exiting his cab Nov. 8 in the West Side’s Austin neighborhood, police said.
Badri Hassan, 36, of the 4000 block of West Cullom Avenue, was charged with public indecency and assault, both misdemeanors, according to police.
Hassan was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Central Area police headquarters on the 5500 block of West Grand Avenue.
Hassan, who works for Flash Cab, allegedly exposed himself to a 29-year-old woman and grabbed her arm as she exited the vehicle on Nov. 8 near the intersection of West Ohio Street and North Laramie Avenue, according to police.
Hassan was released on an individual recognizance bond and is scheduled for appear in Misdemeanor Court on Dec. 16.
