Chris, a Birmingham native, regularly advises and represents clients in probate and estate matters, civil litigation, business transactions and litigation, probate support for personal injury litigation, estate administration, estate and trust litigation, guardianships, conservatorships and taxation.

He has been recognized by Birmingham Magazine in its Top Attorneys list in the areas of Probate Law (2017-2020) and Tax Law (2017), and was selected to the Mid-South’s Rising Stars by Super Lawyers for Estate & Trust Litigation (2018-2020). Chris received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Commerce & Business Administration, with a concentration in Small Company Management, from the University of Alabama in 2005. After earning his undergraduate degree, he worked as General Manager of Sports Transportation for over seven years, and successfully negotiated the sale of the company to an industry peer in 2011. Chris received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Birmingham School of Law, graduating with honors in 2010. After completing his law degree, he attended the University of Alabama School of Law and received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, graduating cum laude in 2013, with a concentration in Business Tax.

Chris lives in Birmingham with his wife, Beth, and three daughters, Abbey, Olivia and Charlotte. He is a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church in Mountain Brook, where he serves on the board of the Child Development Center.
