Attorney
Bakersfield, California, 93301
Joe Werner has been practicing in Bakersfield since 2011, and prides himself on accomplishing his clients’ goals in an efficient and practical manner. This philosophy and focus has enabled Joe to successfully litigate a wide range of matters over the course of his career, from straightforward collection cases and contract disputes to more obscure issues such as wire transfer fraud and administrative due process violations.
After graduating magna cum laude from Chapman University School of Law, where he was a Senior Articles Editor for the Chapman Law Review and a member of the mock trial team, Joe and his wife moved to Bakersfield to start their family. Immediately impressed with the sense of community in Kern County, and with two young daughters of his own, Joe served for several years on the board of directors for a local children’s charity, and is a current member of the board of directors for the local Habitat for Humanity. Joe is always eager for opportunities to give back to Bakersfield, and believes that includes providing honest, effective, and efficient services to his clients.
Joe was selected to the 2020 Southern California Rising Stars list, published by Super Lawyers magazine. The list comprises the region’s top 2.5 percent of lawyers who are younger than age 40. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
