I would like to take this opportunity to tell you something about me. I graduated from Pomona College of Claremont in 1987. I graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1990. I passed the bar exam on my first try and was sworn in as an attorney in 1991. I immediately began practicing criminal law.
I have been a member of many criminal defense organizations where I have received appointments representing criminal defendants. These include Rancho Defenders in Rancho Cucamonga, Conflict Counsel in San Bernardino, Conflict Counsel in Perris, and the Juvenile Defense Panel in Pasadena.
I am presently a member of the Indigent Criminal Defense Association which represents indigent defendants all over Los Angeles County. I am classified as a Grade 4 which allows me to accept appointments for murder cases up to life without the possibility of parole. I am qualified to handle death penalty cases in San Bernardino County and I am a member of their panel of attorneys.
I have handled thousands of criminal matters and presently have tried to verdict more than 100 criminal jury trials. 17 of those jury trials have been for murder. As you can see, I have had much experience representing individuals charged with crimes.
In addition, I am a member of the California Appellate Project (CAPP) which is a panel of attorneys qualified to handle criminal appeals and writs. I am a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Public Defenders Association/California Attorneys for Criminal Justice, Criminal Courts Bar Association and the South Bay Bar Association. You can rest assured that when you retain me you will receive the best defense possible for you or a loved one.
