Professional experience
Before joining Hooy & Hooy as an associate, Will worked as a labor and employment attorney for one of the world’s largest law firms. He primarily represented employers in connection with single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters, though he also worked on a number of multi-million dollar wage and hour cases alleging meal and rest break violations, independent contractor misclassification, among other issues. Since joining Hooy & Hooy, Will has expanded the scope of his practice to all the firm’s service areas.

Education
Will earned his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Will was awarded Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Awards for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing I, Civil Procedure, Property Law, Evidence, and Bankruptcy. He was also a recipient of both a Merit Plus Scholarship and a Dean’s Recognition Scholarship, and was admitted to the McAuliffe Honor Society. Before law school, Will graduated from UC Davis in 2011, earning a BA in economics and history.
