Kimberly graduated from college at Chapman University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics, and a minor in Comparative Literature. During her tenure at Chapman University, Kimberly was a member of the Mock Trial Team, the Women's Soccer Team, a representative in the Student Body, and a member of Delta Gamma sorority holding various leadership positions.
Kimberly went on to attend Whittier Law School in the evening part-time, electing to work in various law firms during the day to gain practical, real-life experience. She clerked for partners in practices focusing on employment law, real estate and bankruptcy. In her last year of law school, Kimberly was selected by law school professor and Associate Dean, Martin Pritikin, to be his research assistant, helping publish his article on recidivism in the Wisconsin Law Review entitled, "Is Prison Increasing Crime?".
Kimberly was also a senior member of the Whittier Law Journal of Child and Family Advocacy, and the 4L Student Bar Association Representative. Kimberly graduated from Whittier Law School with a Concentration in Business Law, a Certificate in International Law, and honors for her contribution to the Law Journal. Since graduating, Kimberly has been involved in litigating a number of high profile cases which were the topics of articles published in the Los Angeles Business Journal such as "Risky Business", the Long Beach Post and The Beachcomber.
Kimberly has taken cases to trial, through the appellate courts, and back down to trial again, making her practice extremely versatile. For those cases that must be tried, Kimberly obtained a Top 40 Civil Rights jury verdict in 2018, and is angling for another top win.
Kimberly has successfully obtained settlements in other cases, recovering millions for clients. Kimberly has been selected by her peers as a Super Lawyer "Rising Star" for the past five years - 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020, and is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers' Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Orange County Women Lawyers' Association, and California Lawyers' Association
