Ms. Terry currently represents Nobel prize winners as well as gold medalists and is known for her expertise in the EB-1, O and P categories of immigration. Being the parent of Olympians has propelled Ms. Terry to focus on excellence by promoting fair play and equality issues in her law practice. Attorney Terry has been honored for her exceptional legal work with minorities over the years.
She was a founding member of the Orange County Immigration Fraud Task Force, twice Chairperson of the Orange County Bar Association Immigration Law Section, and an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association for which she served as the Liaison between attorneys and the Orange County Immigration Office. She is also an Associate Professor of Law at several law schools where she has taught immigration, criminal, sports, and entertainment law. She has provided in-service training for law firms, corporations, community organizations and schools. Her lectures and articles have been featured for the past 32 years.
The media often consults Ms. Terry whenever immigration issues surface and become newsworthy and she has been consistently quoted and referenced more than 200 times over the years since 1985. Ms. Terry has also served as Judge Pro Tem for Orange County Superior Courts, served on the California State Bar Ethics Committee, mediated attorney-client cases, served on many pro bono committees dealing with immigration, fraud, discrimination and attorney malpractice
