Attorney Joel Weissler's goal in founding the Weissler Law Group was, and remains, to touch client's lives by providing the highest level of legal representation in areas which make a difference for clients and their families. He was drawn to estate planning, asset protection and elder law by witnessing how vulnerable families are when things go wrong.
Within his own extended family he has seen devastation wrought by poorly drafted wills and trusts; the conflict that can challenge families when medical decisions haven't been made in advance and must be made; the expense of in home and residential long term care and the progressive feeling of loss which too easily sets in as a loved one and all their unshared memories disappear within Alzheimer's.
Attorney Weissler was drawn to asset protection for families after witnessing too many hard working business owners left broke and devastated, crippled and unable to continue on or make a new start. Joel knows how important it is to protect a business owner's core assets and ability to restart so that their family isn't left paralyzed and devastated.
A father of three, Joel is dedicated to protecting families from the unexpected and from life cycle events. He feels that no one should be forced to loose a lifetime of work to events beyond their control, economic conditions or the expenses of aging.
