Paul M. Shapiro spent most of his legal career in Connecticut’s Attorney General’s Office, having served as an assistant attorney general for twenty-nine years. Most of Paul’s time in the Attorney General’s Office was in the role of senior legal counsel to the University of Connecticut. He is a life member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
A graduate of both Case Western Reserve University and its law school, Paul is active in his community, currently serving as mayor of Mansfield, CT. He also serves as chairman of the board of New Samaritan Corporation, Connecticut’s largest developer and manager of affordable housing for senior citizens.
