More About James M. Connolly

For the last 30 years, Jim has exclusively represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters, including wrongful death, medical and dental malpractice, product liability, strict liability, and all types of automobile cases.

He has argued cases to the Connecticut Supreme Court and the Appellate Court. Jim has represented the Standing Committee on Bar Admissions and has been a presenter at the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Annual Evidence Seminar.

As a Civil Trial Specialist since 1996, attorney Connolly is one of less than 100 Connecticut attorneys to be certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the only organization approved by the Connecticut Judicial Department’s Specialization Committee. His peers have recognized him as a Connecticut Super Lawyer since the inception of that designation in 2006.

Jim Connolly grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and completed his undergrad and a law degree at the University of Bridgeport (now Quinnipiac University School of Law), magna cum laude. In his early career, he prosecuted severe criminal matters, including murder, sexual assault, and robbery.

He also represented a major national insurance company and litigated automobile, product liability, premises liability, and other negligence and subrogation matters.
