Although he attended his father’s high school rival, DuPont Manual, Steve followed in Carl’s footsteps by earning his J.D. from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1998 after he graduated with his B.A. in Philosophy from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY.
After joining his father’s law practice, Steve married the love of his life, Carrie. Originally from Bardstown, KY, Carrie’s career as a women’s health nurse practitioner, has also allowed her to support her community alongside her husband’s successful law career. They have two children who attend school at Holy Spirit Church, where they also attend services.
