The law is not to be interpreted or preserved for one’s own benefit, but must be applied in a fair and just matter. Those who break the law should be punished accordingly and those who abuse the law should not benefit from it. I believe the law is a living, growing and constantly changing organism that must be continually applied and reapplied to the specific facts. Society is always made better when lawyers present an honest, direct and truthful version of their client’s interest by advocating their rights.
