Chuck Boudreaux is a partner in the Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans offices of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2020 and practices with the business, health law, and medical malpractice groups. Chuck has 40 years of experience in the healthcare sector, representing physicians, various healthcare facilities including OBLs, ASCs and other physician and corporate owned facilities, single specialty and multiple specialty clinics, healthcare related foundations, and allied health professionals in a variety of business agreements, transactional and regulatory matters, regulatory hearings, and healthcare litigation matters.
Chuck’s healthcare litigation practice includes the defense of medical malpractice claims for commercial carriers, self-insureds, trusts, risk retention groups, as well as commercial litigation involving healthcare matters. Chuck has served as a special assistant attorney general for the State of Louisiana, representing state-owned and operated healthcare facilities and was appointed lead coordinating attorney for a nationally based professional liability insurer for their cerebral palsy, anesthesia, and cardiac emergency cases.
