Scott is a Southwest Louisville native and 1978 graduate of Jesse Stuart High School. He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1988. There he was on the Dean’s list, was a member of the school’s law review, and was a member of the moot court board.
He has given lectures to other attorneys in continuing legal education classes about Kentucky workers’ compensation issues and has won cases before the Kentucky Supreme Court.
