Greg Farris, an attorney since 1973, is licensed to practice in all State of Maine courts and in the United Stated District Court. Greg’s original practice back in the 70’s and 80’s consisted primarily of criminal trial work and then general civil litigation, including malpractice. Greg has a significant background in all types of domestic litigation.
Over the past few years Greg’s practice has evolved into more corporate, estate planning and tax planning, including work in the aviation field. His background in trial work, real estate, corporate and business law, estate and tax planning brings years of experience and savvy to the table when working with clients to resolve their unique problems.
Greg is the current CEO and owner of Maine Helicopters, Inc. – Maine’s largest helicopter company. Additionally, he and James Delamater (the retired President of Northeast Bank) have partnered in Delamater Farris, LLC, a consulting business specializing in large business turnaround and consulting.
Greg is a graduate of the University of Maine Orono and the University of Maine School of Law. As a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Maine State Bar Association, and the Kennebec County Bar Association, Greg Farris is recognized as one of the state’s top litigators.
