Attorney
Manlius, New York, 13104
Attorney Bob O'Leary has broad based legal and practical experience that he draws upon when representing clients. Bob began his legal career with a respected regional law firm in his hometown of Glens Falls, New York. While in Glens Falls he was appointed to serve as Assistant City Attorney. Bob and his wife relocated to the Syracuse, New York area when he accepted a position as Assistant General Counsel with Carrols Corporation (NYSE: TAST).
When Bob's position at Carrols was eliminated, he accepted a job with a respected firm in downtown Syracuse until he decided to acquire the Manlius practice of retiring attorney Malcolm Fleming, establishing O'Leary Law in 1992. O'Leary Law has developed into a busy suburban law office that has been privileged to handle clients with both complex and routine legal needs. For 24 years Bob served as outside general counsel for his friend John MacDougall and Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes, Inc.
As Bob always says, "O'Leary Law is a boutique - not a department store", which underscores that fact that he has purposely limited the range of legal matters his office handles to real estate (both residential house closings and commercial real estate), business law (buying and selling businesses and other business related matters), estate planning (preparing wills and trusts), and probating estates and other elder care matters. O'Leary Law's suburban office is a mere 15 minutes from downtown Syracuse and offers convenient off street parking for clients. Bob O'Leary is committed to his family and community. Bob has been an elected judge in the Fayetteville- Manlius community since 1992.
He was first elected as Fayetteville Village Justice and now serves as Manlius Town Justice. He has served as a director or president of numerous local groups. Bob is recognized as the founder of the successful rowing team at Fayetteville -Manlius High School, which he worked to create to provide alternatives for participation to high school students.
