He started his career as a city prosecutor and an insurance defense attorney. This gave him valuable trial experience early in his career and working for the insurance companies for three years gave him an invaluable insight into how insurance companies operated the judicial system. He did not like what he saw.
David became passionate about representing those who were injured instead of defending the insurance companies that had billions but would not give a dime to those that were hurt, injured, or maimed in accidents.
