Attorney John P. Fritz is the founder and managing member of Fritz Law LLC. As a St. Louis native, John has gained extensive experience over the past 9 years representing clients ranging from individuals to large multinational corporations. John left a mid-sized law firm and started Fritz Law LLC after recognizing that a small, highly specialized law practice could provide more effective and cost-efficient results for his clients.
John decided to focus part of his practice on estate planning shortly after going through the process himself. He had no idea of the impact and sense of ease that executing estate planning documents would provide for him and his family. John’s main goal is to help his clients and their families feel the same sense of comfort and protection that estate planning can offer. In order to achieve this goal, he takes the necessary time to sit down with clients one-on-one to understand their current and future goals. After a comprehensive review, John personally prepares and executes a number of important estate planning documents for each client, including wills, trusts, living wills, powers of attorney and other advanced estate planning documents.
In addition to helping clients protect their assets and final wishes, John provides support after devastating accidents. He accepts personal injury cases across the entire St. Louis metropolitan area and surrounding region, including car accidents, dangerous premises and defective products. John recognized early on in his career the uphill battle that injured victims have when it comes to dealing with insurance companies. He has represented clients in personal injury cases in a number of jurisdictions all over the United States, including St. Louis County, St. Louis City, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Madison County, St. Clair County, Chicago, and New York. He has taken hundreds of depositions and has participated in dozens of trial teams, including multiple cases that have been tried to verdict. John utilizes his prior experience of defending insurance companies to help his clients achieve maximum compensation for their injuries.
John received his bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University and obtained his law degree from St. Louis University. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and New York. John is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis, the Lawyers Association of St. Louis and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. John is also an active member of WealthCounsel, a national network of estate planning attorneys and other business professionals.
John regularly participates in a number of local charities and educational programs. He currently resides in St. Louis with his wife and two children.
