Ms. Wade was born in Norwich, England; she moved to Missouri in the early 1990s. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Columbia College before attending the University of Missouri School of Law, from which she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2004. She has one daughter, Nora, and has been married to her husband, Ben, since 2003. Ms. Wade is an avid equestrian and community volunteer. She served on the Columbia Public Schools Board of Education from April 2011 to April 2023, including as President for two consecutive terms from 2019 to 2021.
Ms. Wade believes in practical, solution-focused representation backed by decades of successful courtroom experience.
Helen Wade focuses primarily on domestic cases, including paternity, divorce, motions to modify child support, custody, and maintenance awards. Helen was admitted into the Missouri Bar in 2004 and was also admitted and has practiced in front of the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri. Helen is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers, and the Boone County Bar Association, where she currently holds the office of secretary (2005-2006).
Helen believes that every domestic case is extremely important and commits herself to the professional and aggressive representation of clients with domestic problems. Helen was born in Norwich, England on May 14, 1976. After attending Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri (BA 2001), Helen attended the University of Missouri Law School and obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2004. Helen is married and has one daughter; her husband is a businessman in Columbia, Missouri, and they are both very active in the community.
