Meagan is an Omaha, NE native. She is a graduate of Millard North High School, University of Kansas, and the University of Nebraska College of Law. When deciding where to practice, there was no place like home.
Prior to entering private practice, Meagan was a prosecutor for Douglas County Child Support Enforcement. It was there that she not only gained invaluable and extensive trial experience, she also saw how wrong things can go in family law cases. Having seen the worst, Meagan is committed to providing the very best representation for her clients.
Meagan co-founded the Nebraska Family Law Organization, an organization focused on increasing students’ interest in family law, as well as connecting established attorneys with law students. The organization has succeeded in bringing mentoring to students and attracting quality young lawyers to the practice of divorce and family law.
Meagan is also an active member of the Nebraska Bar as a member of the House of Delegates, the bar association’s governing body. Her good rapport and positive relationships with other attorneys translates to more settled cases. When lawyers know and trust each other, negotiation is more successful. This is a guiding tenant of Meagan’s practice philosophy.
When not at work Meagan is enjoying time with her husband and daughter, volunteering with her synagogue’s social justice committee, or working on DIY house projects.
