Whether it’s coaching baseball for his high school alma mater Creighton Prep – or expanding his knowledge in his chosen field of Employment & Tax Law – Peter pushes himself to be informed, up-to-date, and accountable. He feels that when people come to him for answers or assistance, he is responsible for providing the correct guidance – both on and off the field.
Peter Langdon is an Associate with AKC Law and focuses his practice on Employment, Corporate, Commercial, and Tax Law. His desire to advise clients on taxation matters led him to pursue his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law.
He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014, where he studied Political Science, History, and English. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law in 2017 and his LL.M. in taxation from Villanova University School of Law in the fall of 2019.
While in law school, Peter was the Executive Editor of Creighton Law Review, was awarded the Donald P. Lay Law Review Award, and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Labor Employment Law Society, and the Business Law Society. He served on the Moot Court Board, was a legal writing associate in the Legal Writing Center, and was a research assistant for Professor Edward Morse and Katharine Van Tassel. He is currently a member of the Defense Research Institute. He serves on the planning committee for the Labor and Employment section, and is Vice-Chair of Manuscripts. He is also an associate editor for the treatise Age Discrimination in Employment Law, Third Edition, ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law, 2019.
