Olsi Vrapi is the managing partner of the firm and is based in the Albuquerque office. Mr. Vrapi represents individuals, families, and businesses in family and business visa petitions, green card applications, naturalization and citizenship, removal of conditions and green card renewals, H-1B visas, PERM applications, J-1 Conrad Physician Waivers, and other immigration matters. He also takes the government to federal court over delays and improper decisions. Mr. Vrapi is an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Mr. Vrapi is fluent in Spanish, Albanian, proficient in Italian, and has passable knowledge of French.
Mr. Vrapi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Political Science and Spanish in 2003. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in December 2006. Mr. Vrapi started working in the field of immigration law in 2003, and he has been a licensed lawyer since 2007. Mr. Vrapi is the recipient of national awards and the past chair of the TX, NM, and OK Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Mr. Vrapi is an immigrant himself who came to the United States in 1999 as a student from Albania. At that time, the biggest difficulty in his life was the feeling of being stuck and not being able to dream about and plan his future without permanent status. He understands that many immigrants like himself have similar issues and decided to dedicate his career to breaking those immigration barriers so immigrants can dream big and work hard to make those dreams a reality, which in turn makes our communities more vibrant.
