Radu C. Vasilescu - Since joining Jeffries & Corigliano, LLP, Mr. Vasilescu focuses his practice on immigrant petitions including EB1-A, EB1-B, EB2/NIW and PERM/EB2 and non-immigrant visas such as H1Bs, O-1s, and varied investor visas. He has also successfully obtained waivers of the 2-year home residency requirements for numerous J-1 visa holders. In 2015, Mr. Vasilescu was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in New York. Mr. Vasilescu holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from New York University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. At Hofstra's Political Asylum Clinic, Mr. Vasilescu secured asylum approvals for victims of persecution- an experience wherein he first realized the rewarding benefits of immigration practice and aiding individual clients.
