More About Rebekah Morrison

Attorney Rebekah Morrison was born and raised in Madison, North Carolina, a small and rural town north of Greensboro. Starting at a young age, she took a genuine interest in getting involved with her community. She mentored and tutored students of all ages throughout her school years. Recently, she’s been involved in a young professionals group in Madison. The group is aimed at attracting visitors and businesses to the historic downtown and riverfront and helping to develop the same responsibly.

She went on to get her bachelor’s degree at the Univerity of North at Carolina Chapel Hill where she majored in Peace, War, and Defense. She graduated with distinction in 2013 and was recognized as a Buckley Public Service Scholar.

Being a true Carolina Tarheel fanatic, Rebekah continued on to receive her law degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and was recognized for her pro bono service.

“I do think every person deserves to have someone in their corner. I find that in law and in family law, people are facing one of the most difficult times of their lives and really need help rebuilding their identity and their life after a major change.”

Rebekah finds it gratifying to advise someone on a domestic issue so they can move forward in their day-to-day lives. She takes pride in communicating effectively with clients while leaving legal jargon to the wayside. She wants people to have a clear understanding of what their main issues are, and for them to feel free to speak openly with her about their questions or concerns.

“I enjoy arguing on behalf of people before a judge, by helping them put their best foot forward in a courtroom and show the factfinder that they are more than the sum of all their parts.”

When she’s not advocating for others in the courtroom, you’ll probably find Rebekah reading a mystery novel, playing tennis, working in her garden, or listening to oldies.
