David grew up and went to law school in Michigan, but he fell in love with Western North Dakota after relocating there in 2014. David opened The Spencer Law Firm in 2015 in Minot, North Dakota. Prior to that he managed and oversaw the opening of the Watford City Public Defender's Office in Watford City North Dakota. During his time there, David represented clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges. He is a fighter in the courtroom and vigorous advocator for Criminal Defendants and Civil Clients.
