Ameen Y. Behbahani is a practicing attorney throughout the State of Oklahoma. As an Associate at Gies Law Firm, P.L.L.C. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ameen has been fortunate enough to handle a myriad of cases stemming from compliance issues, negotiations, contract disputes, criminal matters, and landlord tenant disputes. While Ameen is a Civil Litigator in the State of Oklahoma, he also understands the need for quick, effective, and economical settlement options. Ameen is a certified Mediator in the state of Texas and Oklahoma.
Prior to earning his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law, Ameen attended Southern Methodist University where he earned his Masters Degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Ameen played college football at the University of Houston from 2009 - 2013, where he was a four year letter-winner. Ameen's first collegiate sack came against Mississippi State in Starkville, MS which propelled Houston to a victory. UH was th AP Poll Number Five team in the Nation at one point. Off the field, Ameen excelled and was named to the Dean's List and C- USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
During his collegiate career, Ameen also found time to work in the community and be an advocate for his teammates as the Vice President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
When Ameen is not at the office advocating for his clients, he can be found on a nature hike with his one year old adopted puppy, Otis.
