Firm owner Phillip C. Hawkins, is a native to Oklahoma. He grew up in rural Oklahoma north of Tulsa. He is an avid sports fan and loves to watch basketball and take time to go fishing when he’s not competing in Crossfit athletic events. Phil currently lives in Tulsa with his side-kick Louden, a friendly black lab who also serves as our office mascot.
Phil is an active member in the community through various professional organizations including Lawyers for Working Oklahomans and the Oklahoma Association of Justice. He began practicing law in May of 1992 after earning his Bachelor’s degree at Graceland College in Iowa and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa School of Law. Entering the legal arena as an insurance defense attorney gave Phil a keen understanding of the ins and outs of the insurance industry and it didn’t take long for him to realize that he would rather represent Oklahomans who truly needed his help. He left insurance defense and started his own firm solely dedicated to representing the Plaintiffs and Claimants that he was previously fighting against.
Phil is passionate about seeking justice for those who have been injured through the negligence of others and he has recovered millions of dollars in settlements, awards and verdicts for his clients. Phil is a leader in the field of Worker’s Compensation law and he also represents injury and death claims arising from serious automobile, trucking and life-altering accidents.
