Jon M. Friedman has been assisting people injured by negligent drivers, doctors, and lawyers in state and federal courts since 1984 and prides himself on providing personal attention to each client to resolve cases quickly, fairly, and completely. Jon grew up near Chicago, where he graduated from a public high school in 1976, before attending Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
Following his heart, Jon spent 1980-81 cleaning the undersides of airplanes while becoming a commercial-rated pilot and a certified flight instructor, both instrument and airplane. He enjoys teaching and flying in cloudy or foggy conditions, using only the airplane’s instruments to maintain safe flight. In the fall of 1981, Jon enrolled in the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis and Clark College, graduating in 1984.
He spent several years working for the law school’s legal clinic, primarily assisting low-income families with consumer problems. Jon fully understands that most people have never had to bring a personal injury claim against another person or entity, which allows them to be potentially victimized by the negligent party’s insurance company.
Jon ensures that you understand where you stand from the start of the case and keeps you updated through its completion so you can make informed decisions about the legal process and focus on your recovery. Jon has been married to Michele Friedman for over 35 years. They have two beautiful adult children and live in Portland, Oregon.
