More About Neil Kuczynski

Mr. Kuczynski graduated from the Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University in 2014 with an emphasis in entertainment and sports law, earning the CALI award for receiving the top grade in four courses. He was also a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and worked in the school’s Entertainment Law Clinic, providing production legal services for independent film productions. His services included drafting documents such as employment contracts and location use agreements; counseling clients on the registration and use of copyrighted and trademarked intellectual property materials; and the formation of a limited liability company (LLC) for each film.

During Mr. Kuczynski‘s law school career, he worked as an extern at the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA) for the United States Department of Health and Human Services. He worked closely with multiple administrative law judges, drafting judicial opinions in several cases, researching federal statutory and regulatory law, and writing substantive case reviews to make recommendations on the disposition of Medicare provider claims.

Mr. Kuczynski’s greatest asset is his solid foundation in legal research and writing. In his first year at Chapman, he finished among the top students in the legal research and writing courses, and became an academic fellow in his second year, tutoring first-year law students in the fundamentals of legal writing.

Before deciding to return to school to pursue his law degree, Mr. Kuczynski had a career in television and video production. He worked as an associate producer, writer, and video/sound editor for a corporate media production company. He also negotiated agreements with voice over talent and music licensing agencies for the company, and served as the company’s media asset manager.

He also worked as part of the production team for several live sports television and radio broadcasts while pursuing a masters degree at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He also holds a bachelors degree in philosophy from the University of California at San Diego.

In his leisure time, Mr. Kuczynski is an avid golfer and fan of hockey, football, soccer, and baseball.
