If you don’t have powers of attorney, don’t wait another day to get them done.  If you do have powers of attorney, now is a critical time to review them and make sure they work.  Standard forms may contain language prohibiting certain treatment options, but if you get the coronavirus, it’s possible that you may need to be intubated or have other measures done to survive.  Not all documents are created equally so it’s important to work with an experienced estate planning attorney.
