More About John Duffy

John Duffy was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Bishop England High School and of Furman University, where he received his Bachelor's in History and Spanish. While at Furman, and upon graduation, he was allowed to travel and live abroad in Spain, Bolivia, and Argentina. There, he developed his ability to fluently speak Spanish, a skill that he utilizes today in his practice.

His experience and practice in Civil matters range from Contract Disputes, Construction defects, Worker's Compensation, Car Wrecks, and Premises Liability cases. He also practices in Family Court, where he assists his clients in handling complex Family Court issues in divorce, custody, and equitable distribution. He is experienced in a wide range of Criminal Matters from Magistrates/Municipal Courts, DUIs, Aggravated Felonies in State General Sessions Court, and criminal matters in Federal Court. John has tried cases to verdict in front of juries in the Courts of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties.
