Stacy N. Greene is a native to the Mid-South area. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and was raised in North Mississippi. She graduated from Southern Baptist Educational Center, now known as Northpoint Christian School, in Southaven, Mississippi in 1996. In 2000, Ms. Greene received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Mississippi State University, graduating magna cum laude. She was a President’s Scholar and a member of numerous honor societies including the Golden Key National Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi. During her undergraduate years, Ms. Greene participated in a leadership program based on Stephen Covey’s book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. During her time in this program, she was a mentor and tutor for underprivileged grade school children.
Ms. Greene received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2003. At the University of Mississippi School of Law, Ms. Greene was privileged to work in the Poverty Law Clinic providing legal assistance to the indigent community. While in law school, Ms. Greene was honored to receive the James McClure, Sr. and Helen Powell McClure Memorial Scholarship. After graduating from law school, Ms. Greene worked in general practice for two years in Southaven, Mississippi.
Ms. Greene joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz in 2005, and she works primarily in the Memphis, Tennessee office. She is a member of the Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas Bar Associations, as she is licensed to practice law in all three states. In 2013, Ms. Greene was named as a Rising Star by Law & Politics magazine. With licenses to practice law in three states, Ms. Greene has been honored to assist in the opening of three of Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz’s satellite offices in Jackson and Tupelo, Mississippi, and Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Ms. Greene enjoys practicing in the area of personal injury law. She knows when someone has experienced a personal injury caused by the negligence of another, it can cause an individual to suffer not only physically, but emotionally and financially as well. This is when legal representation can be highly beneficial. Practicing law at NST allows Ms. Greene to provide assistance and comfort to her clients during a very difficult time. As a mother, nothing gives her more satisfaction than when she can take the burden of dealing with the legal issues off of the parents and let them concentrate on their child who has been injured. Practicing personal injury law allows her to impact individuals on a personal level.
Ms. Greene lives in North Mississippi with her daughter. She loves history and reading and spends much of her free time reading historical nonfiction. Ms. Greene also enjoys cooking and traveling with her family. Ms. Greene was a thespian in her youth and has always supported drama and the performing arts. She and her family are avid theater goers too. Ms. Greene and her daughter are also active members of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. They love participating in Operation Christmas Child that provides shoeboxes filled with toys and goodies to children all over the world.
In addition, Ms. Greene has always enjoyed teaching Sunday School, AWANA, and children’s Bible groups. Ms. Greene actively supports the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf in Germantown, Tennessee and participates in their many fundraising events. Ms. Greene was born, raised, and educated in this area. She is proud to work in the Mid-South and has chosen to raise her family here as well. She feels it is indeed an honor to serve those in her hometown.
