William Leckerling has been a director of the firm since 1990. His clients are typically individuals, although he has represented multiple Fortune 500 companies, as well as various small business owners and condominium associations.

Bill is a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, certified as a Civil Trial Advocacy Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and AV Rated by Martindale Hubbell’s Peer and Judicial Review Rating (the highest rating possible to achieve). He is also acknowledged in the publication Superlawyers for his proficiency in employment and labor law.

Before joining the firm in 1990, Bill was associated with the medical malpractice law firm of Martin, Clearwater and Bell in New York, New York. He currently serves on the board of trustees of the Howard Center for Human Services, after having served as president of the board from 2002-2004. Bill has also served on the board of directors of the Vermont Family Network, which helps children and adults who have special needs. Additionally, he served as a 2010-2012 member of the board of trustees at Vermont Law School, where he obtained his juris doctor in 1982. He lives with his wife in Charlotte, Vermont, where they raised their three children.
