Peter Zurbuch has been an attorney with Busch, Zurbuch & Thompson since 1991 practicing in civil litigation with a primary focus in civil defense and coverage litigation, appellate practice, contract litigation and construction litigation. Mr. Zurbuch is also a trained mediator and frequently mediates disputes pending in state court.
Mr. Zurbuch is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the American Bar Association and The Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. Mr. Zurbuch is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Courts for both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. Mr. Zurbuch is recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine for insurance coverage law.
A 1991 graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, Mr. Zurbuch served as research editor of the West Virginia Law Review and was accorded membership in the West Virginia Chapter of the Order of the Coif. He was also a recipient of the Robert Griffin Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Zurbuch received a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University in 1985.
Mr. Zurbuch serves on the Boards of the Elkins Randolph County YMCA and Youth Health Services.
